Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Pale blue boards with vignette of flying saucer. 6 colour plates.

Spine and corners bumped with fading to top and tail of spine. Ink name stamp to front endpaper. Some foxing else contents clean. Dustwrapper is worn and torn with loss to top and tail of spine.

Contents

  • Professor Brane and his crew, of Kings of Space fame, return in their spaceship to Mars to investigate the situation, to see whether they can find any inhabitants, and to try out the effect of a new insecticide.
  • They find more than they have bargained for, but in spite of the dangers involved, dangers whose nature no one could have foreseen, it turns out to be a good thing for Earth that they did go back.
