Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Report on a series of excavations from 1947 to 1962, dealing in detail with major investigations like that of Cripplegate Fort, the Temple of Mithras and some of the famous mediaeval churches including St Bride's, Fleet Street. Yellow cloth boards, green title label with gilt title to spine. B/w maps and diagrams including some fold-out.
A lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly rubbed at corners, jsut a little grubby.
