Light brown cloth with printed illustrations in gilt and black. B/w illustrations, colour plates. Second printing. Spines have caught the sun and faded to a brown/green (only noticeable when removed from the slipcase). Else a lovely set contained in publisher's slipcase which is scuffed and marked but not split.
