Black, cream and dark red pictorial covers. Introduced by Devendra P. Varma. The text of this edition is based on that of the first edition of 1820 with minor emendations. 8 full page colour illustrations including frontispiece. xvii and 505 pages. Scuffing to spine edges and a little to rear cover. Tiny foxspots to text block. Else contents clean. Contained in publisher's slipcase which is a little scuffed (VG).
