An essay written in Latin first published in 1511. The text of this edition follows that of the translation by Betty Radice first published in 1971 by Penguin books. Introduced by Eamon Duffy. Brown paper boards with black titles and blocked design. Colour plates. xxv and 168 pages sincluding index. A lovely copy, feels unread, contained in publisher's slipcase which has a few minor scuffs.
