Very good condition.
Orange cloth with black illustration to front and spine, gilt title to spine. 7 b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers are a little bit grubby. Gilt to spine is a bit dull. Endpapers lightly browned and foxed, tiny booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. Foxing to title-page. Some hinges pulled. Some light fingering else contents clean.

Burgundy cloth spine. Cream pictorial boards. Colour and b/w text illustrations. Most illustrations by W.J. Morgan, a few early Charles Robinson illustrations, many illustrations not attributed. First story is "Mr. Old Year" by Mrs. Molesworth. B/w and colour illustrations throughout. Edges rubbed with slight loss of surface paper.Joints cracked, hinges tight. A few margin marks but contents generally nice and clean.

Green cloth spine. Pictorial front board showing girl dressed in clown suit. "A Novel Picture book For Children". Four pop-up colour pictures. B/w text illustrations. Spine worn at top and tail. Corners worn and cover edges rubbed. Joints and hinges cracked, front free-endpaper missing. A few loose pieces to first pop-up and skipping rope is twisted (but still intact), other 3 pop-ups in excellent working order. Some tears to inner margins and some loose pages caused by the cracked hinges. Some light page browning and fingering. Still a nice copy of a very scarce Nister pop-up.

Floral endpapers. All edges gilt. Corners rubbed, top & tail of spine worn. Covers lightly scuffed. Small bookplate to front pastedown. Small closed tear to lower edge of front joint and free front endpaper. Endpapers, title page and last page browned. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few marks to contents. Still a nice copy.

Front cover shows kitten being tickled by a blade of wheat by a mouse whilst sitting on a high stool having his photo taken by a cat. B/w illustrations throughout, some to colour, some to copy. Covers worn with some surface paper loss, spine a little frayed at top and tail. Joints split. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Hinges pulled apart. Some pages detached. Possible that some pages may be missing but not known. Contents grubby with fingermarks. Binding still holding but fragile. White colouring to couple of pages. A reading copy only.

Green cloth, gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover with embossed borders. Stories of elves, princesses, dwarfs and fairies. B/w chapter head and tail pieces. Spine and corners a little bumped, corners slightly worn. Small nick to lower edge of front cover. Small split to spine rear edge. Covers clean with gilt still bright. Attractive pictorial bookplate of Dora Allison on front pastedown. Inscription in ink on front endpaper dated December 1869. Some light creasing to pages and some fingermarks. Two pages have circular black marks to them (pages 88 and 120). A bright copy of a scarce early fairy tale book.
