The Royal Collection contains one of the largest and most comprehensive groups of miniatures in existence. This catalogue describes the portrait miniatures dating from the origins of the art in the 1520s up to the end of the seventeenth century. Large format, heavy. Red cloth boards, black title label with gilt title to spine. Colour illustrations. ISBN: 1902163451. Minor white mark to lower edge of front board. Text block slightly grubby.
