Stone cloth with gilt title to spine and brown/red vignette to front cover. Colour illustrations and endpapers. The Glyndebourne Version. ISBN: 0370305779. 'D' inked to vertical edge of text block but no damage inside seen. Top edge of text block a little dusty. Contents fine. Clear acetate wrapper has loss to top and bottom (possibly the reason for the 'D').

Very good condition.
As the close of his life approached, Swinburne often expressed his desire to extract from his various volumes those poems addressed to children. He died without doing so. Edmund Gosse has brought together this collection of Swinburne's poems which are concerned with infancy. Rackham's delicate and romantic illustrations are a perfect complement to the text. 8 colour plates plus b/w text decorations. Dark green cloth with gilt titles and vignette to front cover. Green/white decorated endpapers. 133pp. cr 4to. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. A few small marks to covers. Crossed out inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing; mostly to endpapers. All plates present.

Gissing lived alone on the Canine Estates, had an income of 1000 bones a year but was not happy... A story about dogs. 4 unusual colour plates and 16 b/w line drawings. Bright blue cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front cover and spine. Blue and white pictorial endpapers. Top edge gilt. 227 pages. Top and tail of spine slightly worn with a couple of small nicks. Corners rubbed. Faint damp marks to corners of some pages. Otherwise covers and contents beautifully bright and clean.

Ink inscription to front endpaper. Some browning/foxing alongside spine in places otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge chipped, spine is faded as are edges of panels alongside spine.

Few sports offer so many opportunities for humour as hunting. Cream pictorial boards. 87 pages. B/w illustrations. Introduction by Paget. Spine very slightly bumped, some very slight darkening to cover edges. Name plate to front endpaper. Endpapers browned and some light foxing at page edges. A few margin marks. Top of a couple of pages roughly opened resulting in a small closed tear and small piece missing from top of one page. Dustwrapper is very grubby with a few small stains and is price-cut.

An album for Autographs and Original and Selected Verses. Oblong format. White spine with green title, grey cloth covers with gilt title to front, floral decoration to front as well. Pretty colour illustrations, plenty of space for autographs. Verses by well-known poets Spine and corners bumped, front cover and spine are a bit grubby. A couple of small old tape(?) marks to front endpapers. Front joint just starting to crack. Light foxing throughout. Most (if not all) of the spaces for autographs have been neatly filled in with names. Staples rusty.
