Volume I with 351 b/w photos and illustrations plus 9 coloured plates. Volume II with 370 b/w illustrations and photos plus 9 coloured plates. Light rubbing to leather. A few marks to boards. Browning to edges of pastedowns. Small nibble to vertical edge of front endpaper. Hinges pulled with creasing to volume I. A few minor grubby margin marks. Insect damage to rear joint of both volumes. All colour plates present.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Red cloth covers with gilt lettering to spine. 8 x 11". 128 pages. Superb colour plates plus many fine black and white illustrations. A particularly beautiful book. Large format. Spine and corners bumped. Some light spotting to covers and light scratch marks to front. Foxing to textblock, endpapers and prelims. Dustwrapper is foxed and a bit grubby, browned to spine and edge worn with minimal loss.
