Cloth boards mottled to lighter green. Text block & endpapers browned. One or two hinges pulled. Price-cut dustwrapper is foxed to verso, edge-worn and a 1" chip to top of spine, rear panel is foxed.

Pale foxing/browning to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is browned to spine with a few foxspots; closed tear to one corner.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Green cloth, gilt titles. B/w photos. New Naturalist Monograph no. 5. A few pale marks to boards, gilt title is dull. Front pastedown has evidence of a damp stain (spillage?). Text block browned. Contents crinkled as if from damp but no staining except the front pastedown. Pictorial dustwrapper is strengthened to verso with brown paper at folds, a few grubby marks especially to rear panel, spine is browned and repaired to top where a small piece of loss has occurred.
