Almost very good condition.
NO text. Not a book, but rather a 'box' that pulls up and out to show concertina style peep through 'view' of Tunnel under the Thames. 5 'pieces'. A tunnel book. 'Box' has become a bit crushed - one side is broken, but still attached on one side. Creasing to fold-out pieces and foxing and browning, but still pieces are remarkable bright. Box is worn and grubby.

An outline of Scotland's salient features with a glimpse at its history, national character and customs. 75 colour plates. Blue decorated cloth; gilt title to spine; brown title to front cover. 254 pages and 8 page booklist to rear. 9 x 6". An A. & C. Black Colour Book in the 20 Shillings Series. Some wear to cover corners. Inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. A little foxing; some margin marks. A couple of tissue guards have become loose, but still inserted. Wrapper is very creased and damaged; has been repaired to verso with brown tape; still some pieces of loss.

Bosbury is in the diocese and county of Hereford. Green cloth, gilt titles. 14 b/w plates. Top edge gilt. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Small split to top of spine with fraying to cloth. A few scuff marks and white marks to covers. Front joint is weak and partially broken (can see stitching beneath). Inscription in ink to top of title page. Some foxing and browning. All plates present.
