Beige cloth covers with gilt title to spine and pictorial front cover. Stunning colour and b/w plates throughout. Humourous brief text captions ajoining plates. Simple b/w text illustrations accompanying verses. Large format. 76 pages. Top edge gilt. A delightful book! Spine and corners a little bumped. Covers a little grubby. Small booksellers label to rear pastedown plus date stamp. Endpapers browned. Small tears and a small piece missing to front endpaper. Couple of hinges slightly cracked. Contents very good. Includes a book mark with an original drawing.

Some light fingering to page edges else contents clean.

Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial front board shows boy and girl marching in soldier outfits. 24 colour plates plus b/w illustrations throughout. 320 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn, cover edges worn. Front cover is a little grubby, as is rear. Prize plate to front endpaper. Joint between endpaper and frontis is cracked. Some foxing and fingering and some page margin tears but contents generally clean.

Willy and Nilly are twins. Beige cloth with blue titles and borders. B/w illustrations and 8 colour and 7 b/w plates. Spine and corners bumped. Tiny dents to edges of rear cover which is also slightly warped. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Joint between endpaper and half-title is cracked. Heavy foxing to contents and some hinges cracked. Otherwise clean.

One of a series of four story books, each with 6 colour plates and scores of illustrations. This one has very pretty pictorial boards showing a little boy peeping from behind a tree at a little girl sitting eating an apple. Pictorial endpapers by W. Heath Robinson. Front endpaper shows characters from fairy tales, rear endpaper characters from nursery rhymes. Red cloth spine with black titles. 10x8". Spine is a little grubby. A few scuff marks to covers. Corners are bumped and worn. Foxing to outer page edges. A few closed margin tears. One hinge pulled. Five of six colour plates missing. 4 b/w illustrations have been coloured in.
