Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Small format. Beige cloth with blue titles. B/w text illustrations. Spine slightly bumped. A few small damp(?) spots to top edge of rear cover. Front endpapers are browned. Dustwrapper is price-cut and edge worn with minimal loss at spine and corners. Wrapper is brpwned, particularly to spine. A nice copy of the first edition, first issue, USA edition.

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
"This volume grew out of an exhibition of the picture of Pamela Bianco (aged 12) which was held in 1919, they are accompanied by exquisite poems that De La Mare was inspired by them to write. Beautiful colour and b/w pictures. Large format. White boards with grey titles and illustration to front cover. This edition has the Angel & Child plate facing page 19. This was Dorothy Lathrop's copy with inscribed card from W. DLM laid in. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges slightly worn. Some foxing and slight page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with just a tiny piece of loss to top front edge, slightly foxed and rubbed to front edge.

They incorporate a wide range of images: scenes from his own honeymoon, including sexual acts; enlarged photographs of genitalia and flowers; bondage scenes of trussed up women hanging from the ceiling; Tokyo street scenes and more. Contents are clean. Original clear plastic dustwrapper is torn to top front edge. Contained in original publisher's card slip jacket which is a little grubby and is split to one edge. Very heavy.

The anonymous coninuation by Ellis Cornelia Knight of Samuel Johnson's Rasselas (1759). Re-bound in three quarter tan calf leather, raised bands to spine, red title label with gilt title to spine. Marbled paper boards. Vertical and lower edge of text block untrimmed. xii and 356 pages. Modern binding is beautifully clean, bright and tight. New endpapers. Some minor foxing to the contents. Browning to text block and page edges. Overall a decent copy for a text of 240+ years old.

Heavy foxing to contents and some grubby fingermarks to page margins. A couple of small closed margin tears. A very decent copy of a scarce book.
