SIGNED by author by means of a dedication to half-title. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed, covers just a little grubby and illustration to spine has faded a little. Front joint cracked. Hinges cracked. Foxing to contents. A nice copy of the first edition. This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Mr Bumstead is a spaniel, with a gift for getting into scrapes. Red boards, blue title and black vignette to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. A few foxspots and a light stain to edge of textblock. Dustwrapper is edge chipped and rubbed with minimal loss and is a little grubby on rear panel.
