The absorbing story of a great Yorkshire enterprise, beginning in 1908 when young Robert Blackburn, inspired by the exploits of famous French aviators, designed his first aeroplane in Paris. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and diagrams. 571 pages including index. ISBN: 0870210246. Lower edges of boards lightly rubbed. Spine has a slight lean. Text block slightly grubby. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine and a little creased at edges, light scuffing to rear panel.

Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, has a library label to bottom of spine and library bar-code label to rear panel, light creasing to edges.

Pictorial dustwrapper has some light creasing to laminate, is lightly scored and is faded to spine.
