Almost very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Traditional Tales series. "Put salt on a magpie's tail and your wishes will all come true!" but the mocking magpie always flew away. Nonetheless, the advice it gave to Ville did make his wishes come true - after a fashion. Oblong format. Green pictorial glazed boards. B/w and colour illustrations.
Ex-lib with evidence of removal of library tag to title page and front pastedown, also a ink-stamped number to title page. Contents otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is faded to front, spine and rear spine edge (from green to blue). Some damp staining to lower edge of dustwrapper not visible to front. Endpapers removed.
