Almost very good condition. Three-quarter green leather binding with marbled paper boards. 5 raised bands to spine with gilt decorations, red title label and gilt title. Marbled endpapers and text block. Collected issues of The Illustrated Exhibitor from No. 1 June 7 1851 to No. 30 December 27 1851. B/w illustrations throughout including fold-out illustrations.
Leather spine & corners rubbed. Rear edge of spine split but held neatly within a protective jacket so not noticeable unless taken out of the jacket. Marbled boards scuffed. Joints pulled. Binding tight. One or two scattered foxspots. Overall a nice copy considering the age.
