Slightly better than very good condition. Black cloth spine and rear board with purple title block and vignette, gilt title to spine. Beige cloth with black vignette to front. Translated and with an introduction by Norman Denny. Top edge purple. Purple endpapers. Two-tone full page lithographs.
Couple of small knocks to top of spines. Contents are excellent! Some wear to top of spine on Volume I. Slip case is a bit better than very good - some small fraying to cloth at corners.
