Front joint is partially cracked. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Green crayon to verso of one page (plain page). Margin marks to some pages.
Large format. Blue cloth, gilt title to spine and vignette to front. 24 superb Kronheim plates. Comprising 4 stories: Hey-Diddle-Diddle; Pussy's London Life; Robin's Christmas Eve and Uncle's Farmyard. Some knocks and bumps to cover edges and corners. Small nicks to cloth at top and tail of spine. Marks to covers, including what appears to be a damp stain to rear cover. New endapers. Foxing to pages throughout, but colour illustrations are still lovely and vivid!

Textblock is slightly grubby. Slipcase is worn and slightly browned at edges. Split at top of slipcase spine. Slipcase appears to be 1cm too tall for the book.
