Very good condition. The memoires of a centenarian French nobleman, born in 1741. 20 beautiful tissue-guarded coloured plates, most depicting costume, plus numerous b/w text illustrations. Dark blue leather binding with gilt decoration and raised bands to spine. Gilt borders to covers. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Text in French. 9.25 x 5.75". 322 pages.
Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Edges rubbed and corners worn. Covers a little scuffed. Foxing to contents but colours still bright.
