MINKA AND CURDY
Illustrated by Anne Grahame Johnstone; Janet Grahame Johnstone
Published by The Harvill Press. 1st. 1957
Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. When Mrs Bell lost her last cat, Victoria, she agreed to take on a new cat as long as a marmalade kitten was born in the near future. No sooner had she done so than Minka, a Siamese kitten, arrived; Mrs Bell could only hope the marmalade cat never materialised. But he did - Curdy, lively and mischievous, and Minka could not stand the sight of him... Blue boards, gilt title to spine. Colour frontis & b/w illustrations.
Slight bumping to spine and corners. Endpapers partly browned. A few foxspots to textblock. Dustwrapper is browned on verso and bit grubby and foxed.
