The ancient kingdom of Uratu flourished from the ninth to the seventh century, occupying much of what is now eastern Turkey, as well as most of the territory of the Armenian S.S.R. This is a comprehensive survey of Uratian art and history. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Four colour plates, b/w photos and illustrations.

Ex-library, fly-leaf removed. Minimal stamps. Dustwrapper is crinkled and worn at corners.
