Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Popular edition. Large format. Yellow cloth, blue titles and vignette to front cover. Pencil sketches showing "all the experiment and wonder of the child in growing".
Top corners bumped. Small dent with split to top edge of front cover. Grubby mark and small bookseller's label to front pastedown. Contents very good. Dustwrapper has a few small pieces of loss plus 2" from bottom of front flap. Wear to edges of spine and folds, spine is browned. Some darkening to panels. Slightly grubby.
