Good condition. Glazed red pictorial boards. B/w illustrations.
Spine bumped and worn and covered with sellotape. Possibly board joints have been badly cracked and tape has been used to mend this. Front endpaper has been re-glued leading to joint feeling tight. Frontis is partially detached. Rear joint starting to crack. Deep score mark to front board plus other scratch marks to both boards. Remains of tape marks to front endpapers. Large amounts of white correction fluid has been used on front endpaper and verso of frontis to erase writing. Foxing and marks to contents. Several pages have either pen or pencil marks to margins. A reading copy.
