Very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper.
The author brings to account the Royal Navy's response to the restrictions placed on it by the Washington Naval Treaties in the inter-war years, and the construction of the fleet with which the Navy fought the Second World War. Large format. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and diagrams. ISBN: 1861761368. Pale damp stain (coffee?) to top edge of text block, also to top of pastedowns, endpapers, and inside edge of dustwrapper. Otherwise a clean copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly faded to spine.
