Slightly better than good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. The story of Martini, a beautiful little filly who has several owners before settling with Lettie Lonsdale who understands how Martini should be schooled. Red cloth with black titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 191 pages.

Spine bumped and rubbed at bottom. Pale marks to rear board. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Damp marks to rear endpaper and inner margins of previous couple of pages. Endpapers browned. Foxing mostly to top of text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn with 3" tear to edge of front flap plus smaller tear to top of rear panel. Damp marks to rear panel and flap. Rear panel is grubby.
