Dark blue cloth, gold title to front and spine. Front cover has gilt border. 4 sepia plates. 228 pages. Spine is very faded with a couple of small tears/chips to cloth - some fraying to cloth. Bumping and wear to corners; marks to covers. Front joint is cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing, especially to prelims, but also to other pages throughout book. Grubby marks to outer page edges.

A few light marks. Front joint is cracked showing webbing beneath. Small piece cut from front endpaper. Date in ink to front endpaper. Foxing especially to prelims and page edges. Contents otherwise clean.
