Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Large format. Red cloth, gilt titles. Colour plates. B/w text illustrations.
Spine, corners and board edges bumped. Name to verso of front endpaper. Couple of hinges are cracked. Light foxing to prelims and page edges. A little light fingering. Colour plates are bright. Dustwrapper is edge worn with several tears to top and bottom of spine. Large tear to rear panel has been mended on verso with white tape. Both panels have large creases. Small piece of tape to spine on front. Clear verso to strengthen edges and fold. Piece of coloured paper place at top of spine to try and hide slight loss.
