Red cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows Santa hanging from a TV Aerial! First story "The strange happening at number 8" by Boyd. Includes "The Page That Blew Away" by Blyton. 5 colour plates plus b/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine bumped, corners worn. Removal of a plate to verso of front free-endpaper. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Remains of dustwrapper is tucked inside book.

The 2nd Golden Book of Comics. Yellow cloth covers with red title to spine and embossed decoration to front cover. 320 pages. 32 pages in full colour, 32 pages in 2 colour, over 900 illustrations. First story is "Buster's Circus Parade" by Felix Kay. Johns story is "The Case of the Mysterious Gunshots". Blyton story is "He Lost His Head!". Spine and corners bumped, covers slightly grubby. Foxing and grubby fingermarks to textblock and contents. Dustwrapper is worn and grubby.
Another exciting story in the 'Adventure' series. Cream pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. 321 pages. 8 x 5". Spine bumped, grubby mark to top of spine. Name and address in pencil to front free-endpaper. Endpapers partly browned. Dustwrapper is lightly foxed (showing on verso), is edge worn with tears at corners and old tape repairs on verso, slight loss at corners and loss to top 1" of spine.
This most peculiar mystery was made up by four children to entertain Uncle Bob. Cream boards, red title to spine. B/w and two-tone illustrations. Bumping to covers and a couple of cover edges. Some marks to outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with edge-tears and chips; small amount of loss.
A Mary Mouse Strip Book. Small oblong format. Pictorial cardwraps with black cloth spine. 124 yellow and black illustrations. Plain rear cover. A bit of fraying with heavy fading to cloth spine. Foxing to rear cover, outer page edges and a few to pages internally.

Cream boards, red title to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour and b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Brown stain to top of spine. Light foxing else contents clean.Dustwrapper is slightly edge chipped, torn and creased with minimal loss and tape repairs on verso.
Manilla paper/card covers in green/blue colour. Spine browned and some slight browning to cover edges. Some writing in ink to front free-endpaper. Endpapers browned.
Manilla paper/card covers, light blue colour with b/w illustration of squirrels to front. Original address of 'Old Thatch' to the letter to boys and girls at front. B/w photos and illustrations. Spine browned. Writing to front free-endpaper in both blue crayon and pencil. Endpapers browned.
Manilla cardwraps (Brown colour with b/w illustration and title to front). B/w photos. (Manilla covers were simultaneously published with the original limp cloth wraps edition). Corners slightly creased. Spine and cover edges browned. Endpapers browned and a few foxspots else contents clean.
Beige card wraps with b/w illustration to front. (Manilla edition). 96 pages. B/w photos. Some neat blue crayon writing to front free-endpaper. Endpapers browned. Contents clean.
