FIVE ON A TREASURE ISLAND

by Enid Blyton

Illustrated by Eileen Soper

Published by Hodder & Stoughton. 1st. 1942

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Pale blue boards, black titles. Plain endpapers. 32 full-page b/w drawings. The Famous Five's first adventure featuring a ruined castle, a wreck and buried treasure.

Spine bumped. Light spotting (damp?) to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint just starting to crack. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is worn and torn with extensive tape repairs on verso. Rear panel and spine are a bit grubby. There is 1" loss to top of spine and top edge of front panel besides spine. NOT price-cut (showing 5/- net). Overall a decent copy of this scarce Blyton book.
