Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The very first Famous Five book in which the Five encounter a ruined castle, a wreck and buried treasure. Red boards. 191 pages. Blue pictorial endpapers showing the island. B/w illustrations.

A couple of small indentation marks to covers. Marks to outer page edges. Wrapper is price-cut with edge-tears and chips; some surface paper loss to rear panel.
