Good condition in a fair dustwrapper. Burgundy textured boards, black title to spine. Dark blue pictorial endpapers. Colour frontis. B/w and two-tone illustrations. 192 pages.

First reprint of October 1947. Slight rubbing to cover edges. Fading to base of spine. Heavy foxing to contents, mainly just title-page and frontis. Some colouring to the illustrations. Child's name and address written in blue biro to front flap of wrapper. Wrapper is edge worn and toern with large section of loss to lower edge of front panel and a piece to rear panel almost detached. Number '24' written in a small circle with blue biro to front panel.
