Almost very good condition in a poor dustwrapper. The 6th adventure of the Famous Five. Timmy is in trouble, there are strangers on the island and a secret tunnel under the sea. Red boards. Blue and black pictorial endpapers. 192 pages. B/w and two-colour illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped. Marks to base of spine and spine corners of covers. Prize plate to verso of front free-endpaper. Heavy foxing. Some light page browning. Dustwrapper is very worn, creased and torn with loss at edges. Wrapper spine is a bit grubby/faded and the front flap is almost detached.
