Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. The very first Noddy book, in which Big-Ears discovers the little nodding man who has run away from Old Man Carver and takes him back to Toyland. Red pictorial covers with rounded spine. 61 pages. 7.5 x 5.5".
2nd impression of the first edition (with darker green lettering to cover and dustwrapper). Spine and corners bumped and worn. One hinge cracked. Some foxing and some fingering to page edges. Small dark flecks to a couple of pages. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased. 3" closed tear to front panel plus other small tears. Ink marks to front panel and flap. Foxing to verso. Wrapper is generally grubby
