Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. A lovely story about a sheep-dog who grows up to be a little boy's best friend. Green cloth with gilt titles. B/w illustrations. 188 pages. 8 x 5.5".

Spine and corners bumped and just a little rubbed. Some light foxing. Small ink spot to lower edge of textblock. Covers and contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge-chipped and worn with some very slight loss, a few tape repairs on verso. A very nice copy of the first edition.
