But dog-thieves are at work in the village so the children turn detective. Pale blue boards decorated with SS symbol. B/w illustrations only. 121 pages.

A little bumping to spine and corners. Spine slightly faded. Small dent to front cover. Ink name and address stamps to half title page. Grubby fingermarks and other marks to contents. One corner tip creased. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with vertical crease to rear panel and front flap. Small spots surface paper damage to front panel and glue residue, rear panel grubby.
