  • Only a few days more before the Five Find-Outers go back to school! And no mystery has turned up, not even a 'smell of one'. And then suddenly something happens.
  • It isn't a big thing, or even very exciting - but it is puzzling. Why did a man rush out of his house in the middle of the night, in his dressing-gown and slippers, carrying a bundle? What was in the bundle? Where did he hide it and why was it so very important?
  • Mr. Good, the policeman is on the trail - but alas for him, Fatty has begun to practice ventriloquism and poor Mr. Goon is haunted by strange and peculiar voices.
