Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The Popular Series. A fascinating book for the tiny tots, illustrated in two-colour throughout, with frontispiece in full colour. It contains an amusing and instructive ABC, a number of delightful stories and simple verse, also a well illustrated counting rhyme. Cloth spine, covers show child reading, puppy sat by her. Podge, The Puppy verse by Blyton.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. A few bumps to cover edges. A little light scuffing to covers alongside spine. Foxing and browning to endpapers, slight browning to page edges. Name in pencil to top edge of title page otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with a few tears and chips.
