A four volume set: Early Escapades; Superior Sleuths; Police Procedures; Murderous Minds. An anthology of stories selected by Tim Heald and Sue Bradbury. Brown cloth spines, gilt titles. Each volume has a different pictorial paper board. Colour frontispieces plus b/w illustrations. Some light wear to cover corners and edges. A little spotting to a couple of covers. Contents are fine! Slip case has bumping to a couple of corners, with scuff marks.

A downright book about downright naughty children. An anthology compiled by Christianna Brand. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. 40 b/w illustrations. 318 pages. Ex-lib with usual remains of labels and other marks. Old tape marks to front and rear joints. Joints are broken but still holding. Front free-endpaper removed. Some light fingermarks to contents and textblock is a bit grubby. Dustwrapper is just a little edge worn and has been glued to front pastedown of book.

Large format. Blue cloth with gilt titles and borders. Text in German. This is a Limited Edition to 1000 numbered copies. 7 tipped-in colour plates. Spine and cover edges are a bit spotted and faded. Mark to rear cover. Bumping and wear to corners. Front endpaper is very creased. This is Copy No. 726. All plates present. Some margin marks and foxspots. A few hinges are a bit pulled. Colour plates are still very good indeed!

Spine and corners worn, spine faded. Rear cover is scratched and slightly grubby. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Heavy foxing to contents. Some hinges cracked.

B/w illustrations throughout including one small picture by Wain featuring 3 cats in the sea. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Inscription in ink to belongs to page. Foxing to outer page edges and a few page margins. Wrapper is creased with a few large tears and chips; only a little loss to a couple of corners and top of spine.
