The eighth in the Adventure series. Cream pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. 277 pages. Spine bumped and a couple of tiny bumps to edges else covers bright and clean. Neat name and address in ink to front free-endpaper. Light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is heavily foxed to flaps and on verso and is just a little rubbed at top of spine.

Some foxing to page edges and endpapers. Grubby mark to rear pastedown. A few light margin marks otherwise contents are clean. Hinge cracked in middle of book. Book leans a little to one side. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears plus chipping to corners. Browning to panels and spine. Some foxing to rear flap and verso. Front flap has vertical crease. Ring mark to front flap visible on verso.
