In 1939 the 122 (West Riding) Field Regiment Royal Artillery TA was formed and on February 15, 1942, it ceased to exist with the fall of Sinapore. Only 13 members of the regiment were killed in action; more than 200 members who formed the regiment were to die a cruel and agonising death at the hands of their Japanese captors. The author was one of those young men who suffered but survived to tell the story. Pictorial cardwraps. B/w photos. xiii and 136 pages. Covers lightly creased, lightly rubbed at corners.
