Green pictorial cloth with red titles to front board and black titles to spine. 24 colour illustrations. 103 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine a little faded and browned. White marks to rear board. Boards are grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Rear joint and several hinges cracked making the binding a little loose. Bottom of most pages detached. Pencil scribble to front endpaper and a couple of blank pages. 'The End' and some pencil lines to last text page. A few small edge tears. Grubby marks and some foxing to contents.
Cloth spine, pictorial front board shows girl, boy and puppy looking at a peacock. Colour frontis with tissue-guard. B/w illustrations throughout. First story is "The Red Umbrella" by Lefevre. 412 pages. Covers edge worn. Spine bumped. Rear cover is just a little stained. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Light foxing to textblock, drink(?) stain to top corner of textblock.
Orange cloth, blue titles. Colour illustrations throughout. Spine slightly worn and faded. A couple of small marks to rear cover. Dampstains to margins of first few pages. Dustwrapper is badly edge-worn and torn with most of the spine missing.
