Maroon boards with gilt titles and decorations to spine and front cover. Top edge gilt, others uncut. B/w illustrations. 424 pages plus 24 page book list at rear.
Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Some scuffing to spine and board edges. Front cover a little rubbed. Some hinges are cracked. Front endpaper is creased. Browning to prelims. Foxing mainly to endpapers and prelims. Some grubby margin marks.
