Dark blue cloth, elaborate gilt decoration to front cover, vignette to spine. All edges gilt. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine very slightly browned. Name in ink to half title-page, ink address stamp to verso of free-endpaper (neatly crossed out). Heavy foxing to contents which are otherwise clean.

Heavy bump to top corner of open edge of slipcase has prevented further damage to spine of the book which has a tiny bruise to the leather at top of spine. Tiny bruise to leather spine towards the tail, front edge. Otherwise, book appears unread, some light fading to edges of slipcase.
