Slightly better than very good condition.
Set in two slip-cases consists of: Silas Marner; The Mill on the Floss; Adam Bede; Romola; Felix Holt; Daniel Deronda; Middlemarch. Different colour cloths with b/w engravings by different illustrators. Top edge of text blocks is grubby/lightly browned at the opening ends (approx 2" maximum starting from outside edge). Spine of Middlemarch is faded, only noticeable when removed from the slipcase. Otherwise, a very nice set contained in two slipcases which are lightly scuffed.

523 pages. Blue cloth with pictorial onlay. Gilt decorations. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Small rubbing mark to base of spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A very attractive book.
