Very good condition. Dark green cloth with gilt titles and decoration of shepherd and sheep. All edges gilt. Contents are The Sad Fortunes of the Rev Amos Barton, Mr. Gilfil's Love-Story and Janet's Repentance. 16 pull page colour illustrations plus numerous b/w illustrations. 429 pages plus 2 page booklist.
Spine bumped and darkened although gilt still bright. Small bump to top edge of rear cover. Rippling to cloth on patch on rear cover. Bookplate, name and some numbers to front endpapers. Browning to endpapers and a few light fox spots to contents but mostly clean. All plates present.
