Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. Embossed border. 18 pretty tipped-in colour plates with captioned paper guards. 8.25 x 6.25 inches. 198 pages.
Couple of corners are lightly bumped. Bookplate to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. A few light margin marks. All plates present. Wrapper is very browned to spine, with creasing and wear; a few chips and tears; only small amounts of loss.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers faded to spine and edges, title-label to spine rubbed. Name and address in ink to front pastedown. Name in pencil to front endpaper. Browning and foxing to endpapers. Joints starting to crack. Page browning throughout.

Limited edition of 500 SIGNED by Hugh Thomson. White vellum, heavily decorated with gilt. 21 beautiful tipped-in colour plates. Top edges gilt. 235pp. 12.5 x 10". A very handsome book.
SIGNED by Thomson. This is copy no. 148. Bumping to spine and corners. Covers are grubby and rear cover has a couple of marks. Creasing to front endpaper and prelims including mount and tissue guard for frontis but plate itself is not affected. Browning to endpapers. Some light page browning. Light foxing mostly to prelims and page edges and some fingering. One page and last tissue guard creased. Plates all present and in very good condition.

Spine and corners are bumped and worn. There are some marks to the covers and some foxing to the spine. Joints cracked. Endpapers lightly browned/foxed. Some page browning and foxing to the contents. Plates all present and in excellent condition, 1 just has a very small white mark to the lower edge (printing error?).

Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
A Comedy in Four Acts. Large format. Elaborately decorated blue/lilac cloth covers, large gilt vignette and titles to front and spine. Illustrated endpapers. 22 beautiful tissue-guarded colour plates and b/w text illustrations.198 pages.
A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Faint stain, only visible at certain angles, to spine edges of rear and front cover. Tiny bookseller's label to front pastedown. Foxing and light browning to endpapers. Contents very good just an odd margin tear and fox spot. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with tears to ends of spine. Creasing to folds and sides of spine. Browning to spine and unevenly to rear panel. Browning and pink stains to verso corresponding with faint stains on covers.

Covers are unevenly browned. A few chips and nicks at cloth; with a little fraying in places. Plate to opposite page 27 is MISSING (mounting card and tissue-guard are still present, but plate no longer there). Some foxing and page browning.
