- Three weeks after learning to walk Mimff went off exploring and met the butcher's dog, of which everyone was afraid - but not so Mimff. He was just curious, and having decided that the dog was a bigger, better rocking-horse that made noises, he climbed on its back and rode along the street. It was always like that. Mimff was intensely interested in everything new and unusual, and he just did not know what fear meant.
