Examining the organization and activities of one of the most influential of the provincial scientific societies of Georgian England. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine on dark blue title block. B/w plates. Light fading to top & tail of spine, small stain to top edge of rear board. Text block browned. Occasional pencil annotation. Some light damp staining affecting top margins (minor). Blue dustwrapper is heavily edge-worn with a few chips and is grubby, folds of dustwrapper are strengthened to verso with clear tape.
