Tracing the history and development of a unique branch line in south east Northumberland which was formally recognised as an independent Company by Act of Parliament from 1853 but whose existence can be traced to the Seghill Railway of 1840 and to earlier waggonways along the same route. 100 b/w fascinating photographs record some of its stations, signal boxes, locomotives and stock. Blue pictorial cardwraps. Oblong format.
